Virtual
Instruments to enrich my work as a teacher.
One of the most important
things I have learned is the fact that it is necessary to keep on constant
professional growing to enable myself to become a better teacher to enrich and multiply
the impact of my teaching on my students. They deserve the opportunity to
receive the best I can give them. And because we are in the "Virtual Era", the improvement means to face the evolution toward to become a better teacher using virtual environments to benefit my teaching and benefit my students learning.
Under this scope, the use of “Feedly” represents for me an excellent instrument.
By Using this tool, I can achieve two professional objectives. Both are related
with my own professional formation. The first one, is that the use of this tool can add information and ways to overcome the weak areas in my way of teaching,
supplying me theories, methodologies and specific didactic aims. The second one is that it can keep me updated
in the topics I am interest on. This tool, can “feed” my need of professional
growing and this is the reason why it is a valuable tool.
The
use of “Google Forms” and “Form Graphics”, represents, in terms
of professional growing a great step, because it introduces me to a real way of
using virtual environments to enrich my teaching. Using Google Forms, I can improve the way I present formative
evaluation to my students and at the same time I make them to improve their
virtual management abilities making them to manipulate the instruments designed
for their learning process. Using Form Graphics enable me as a teacher to
detect easily and fast the areas where I have to give feedback to my students.
This
way “Feedly” becomes a source of
useful information that benefit my professional growing and the tools of “Google Forms” and “Form Graphics” become useful instruments that enrich my way to apply
assessment in my teaching. They are an excellent combination that enrich my professional development and at the same time benefit my students.

Yes, Patricia, your students deserve a different kind of education, very different from what we were used to having when we were the ones in the classrooms. Learning a bit more about technology is part of our Professional Growth. Without this "growth" we end up doing what our teachers did with us.
